Also look around your home and take photos of key objects or areas you love to add to your design brief.
Consider your lifestyle – an all-white interior may look fabulous but isn’t suitable for a young and active family. Will you need extra storage capacity, a home office, or an entertainment area?
Your home’s location – a home in Waiheke Island is likely to require a completely different set of colours and furniture than an apartment located near Queen Street. Examine the other properties around you to see design styles and any reoccurring themes other owners have chosen to use.
